Set up your Personal Website

Every dial-up customer of I-2000 has personal website space.  The website address of the personal website is:
http://www.i2k.com/~username (where username is your login name).

If you are using a program like Front Page, you'll open the web by entering the website address into the address bar of the "open site" window (NOTE: You will need to contact us to put Front Page extensions in your site directory before using the Front Page programs).

If you use a program that uploads web files via FTP (File Transfer Protocol) then you'll use the following settings.

Server or host name: onramp.i2k.com
Upload directory: /usr/home/username/public_html  (where username is your login name)

The homepage of your website needs to be named index.htm or index.html
