Setting
Up Windows XP
1. Select Control Panel from the Start menu.

If your Windows XP is set to classic mode, you will
find Control Panel under Settings.

2. In the Control Panel click the Switch to Classic
View on the left hand side.

3. Click the Network Connections icon.

4. Click Create a new connection on the left hand
side.

5. The Internet Connection Wizard will start. Click
the next button.

6. Select Connect to the Internet and click the
next button.

7. Select Set up my connection manually and click
the next button.

8. Select Connect using a dial-up modem and click
the next button.

9. In the ISP Name field enter I-2000 and click the
next button.

10. In the Phone number field enter your local
number as you want it to be dialed. Click
here to find your local number. Remember to check with your local
phone company to verify that you are calling a local number. Then click
the next button.

11. In the Username field enter your username.
Enter your password in both the Password and Confirm Password fields.
Uncheck all the boxes at the bottom and then click the next button.

12. If you want to add a shortcut to dial this
connection to your desktop, put a check mark in the box. Click the finish
button.

Your connection is all set.
